2 years since we rescued Bruno 🏠
Two years ago we brought home the most timid, terrified dog from the shelter. He hid under the bed for a week. Now he thinks he owns the entire sofa, follows us from room to room, and greets every visitor with a toy in his mouth. Rescue dogs give everything once they know they're safe. Best decision we ever made.

She knocked my entire pasta dinner onto the floor 😂
Duchess has been eyeing my dinner for years. Last night she finally did it — one perfectly calculated paw swipe and an entire bowl of pasta carbonara was on the floor. She then sat down and looked at me with zero remorse. I couldn't even be angry. I ordered pizza and we shared the couch.

My 15-year-old beagle still acts like a puppy 🐾
Chester is 15 — that's 105 in dog years. He's a bit deaf, a bit slow on the stairs, and needs more naps than he used to. But the second you say "walkies" he spins in circles like it's the best news he's ever heard. Senior dogs are so special. Love him to the moon.

Coco passed her therapy dog certification! ⭐
After 18 months of training, Coco officially passed her therapy dog certification today. We start visiting the children's hospital next month. She already seems to know when someone needs her — she just walks up and leans in. I could not be more proud of this girl.

She chose to sit with me when I was crying ☀️
I had a really hard day yesterday. I sat down on the kitchen floor and just cried. Mochi, who normally wants nothing to do with anyone, walked over, sat on my lap, and stayed there for 40 minutes. Cats know. They always know. I'm fine. Just grateful.

Hazel learned to come when I call her name 💛
I've had rabbits for years and never had one respond to their name. Hazel does. Every single time. I call "Hazel!" from across the room and she stops whatever she's doing, looks at me, and hops over. It took three months but we got there. Small wins mean everything.
